Ms. Restrepo has over 8 years of experience working with patients with a variety of mental health needs, including trauma, domestic violence, anger management, and substance abuse. She is a specialist in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), emotional freedom technique tapping (EFT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

After earning her Bachelors Degree in 2010 and her Master of Science in Psychology in 2014 from Carlos Albizu University in Doral, Florida, she worked as a mental health therapist at multiple organizations in Miami. There, she helped counsel individuals with diverse needs, including parent, family and couples counseling, adolescents, counseling for individuals on parole or in rehabilitation programs, therapy for individuals with substance abuse disorders, sexual abuse and for individuals suffering from sexual addiction.

Ms. Restrepo strives to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and confidential space where the client can freely express their thoughts, emotions, and concerns. She believes in fostering a strong therapeutic alliance, built on trust and empathy, to ensure that clients feel heard, understood, and validated throughout the therapeutic journey Vicky will provide evidence-based interventions and effective coping strategies to help clients navigate and overcome difficulties.

She is bilingual (English and Spanish).
