Dear Community,

This year, BLISS Health celebrates an incredible milestone: 10 years of service, advocacy, and healing. As we reflect on this journey, we are overwhelmed with gratitude. What began as a small but mighty effort to fill a critical gap in healthcare has grown into a thriving, inclusive, and trusted health center for individuals throughout Orlando and Central Florida.

But this celebration is not just ours, it belongs to you. To every patient, supporter, partner, and team member who has believed in our mission, this moment exists because of your trust, your resilience, and your unwavering commitment to compassionate care.

How It All Began: A Vision of Compassion

In 2015, Dr. Roberto Ortiz, founded BLISS Health with a powerful mission: to deliver expert, judgment-free care for individuals living with or at risk for HIV, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and Hepatitis.

At that time, there were few medical spaces in Central Florida where people, especially LGBTQ+ individuals and marginalized communities, could access care without fear of stigma. Dr. Ortiz sought to change that by creating a clinic where every person, regardless of background or status, would be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

We started small, just five employees and one big dream. But word spread quickly. People came to us not only because of our medical expertise, but because they felt seen, heard, and valued.

Growing With Purpose: From One Clinic to a Regional Anchor in Healthcare

Over the past decade, we’ve grown in size, services, and reach, but never lost sight of our purpose. BLISS Health is now home to a team of over 50 dedicated professionals who provide a full spectrum of care under one roof.

From routine doctor visits and lab testing to prescription medications, mental health services, and telemedicine, we’ve become a one-stop destination for people seeking holistic and inclusive care. Whether a patient is looking to manage a chronic condition, access HIV prevention tools, or simply find a provider who affirms their identity, they know they’re safe here.

And for those who are uninsured or underinsured, our Care Management Program ensures no one is left behind. We’ve helped hundreds of individuals access transportation, housing, medications, and nutritional support, because true health goes far beyond medical charts; it’s about stability, peace of mind, and human connection.

The Power of Safe, Affirming Healthcare

At BLISS, we believe that sexual health is a natural, essential part of life, and it should never be a source of fear, shame, or silence. That’s why we approach every visit with education, empathy, and empowerment.

We’ve seen firsthand how transformative it can be when people have a provider who listens without judgment. Every story is part of the heartbeat of BLISS. They remind us why we show up every day, and why this 10-year milestone is so meaningful.

A New Chapter: The BLISS Health Center

While we are proud of how far we’ve come, we are even more excited about where we’re going. In the coming year, BLISS Health will break ground on a transformative project: BLISS MedSpa. More information to come in the next few weeks.

Looking Ahead: The Next 10 Years of Healing
